Numero Uno
My first entry, so maybe I should tell you a little about myself. I’m a very happy person (no, I wasn’t kidding when I said “a little”). Not in a Peewee Herman kind of way, but someone who’s always smiling and appreciates little things. I love the color yellow, so hopefully the bright accents of this page bring you joy and an optimistic outlook because that’s what the color is supposed to do. So, if it doesn’t and it’s simply making you reach over for the Advil bottle on your nightstand due to a headache, I apologize. So, enough about colors and brightness. Funny the Way It Is was inspired by the DMB song (called Funny the Way It Is, funny huh?) and my hopes are to talk about people. Don’t get me wrong, I mean “people” in a non-Perez Hilton way. I’m a closet sociologist. I think it’s so fascinating to think about how society conditions us and how we just know things: how to act, what to say, and the like. It’s something we hardly think about, that’s what I found it so interesting. If you haven’t already guessed, I’m kind of a geek. Anywho, it would be great if you found this sociology kick of mine enlightening in some way, and my goal is to even make you laugh at times. I’m foreseeing now that I’ll probably stray away from this topic often, if something else that’s blog-worthy comes up. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my blog!
